We use a relational not transactional approach to enable the VCSE sector to continue to be creative, inspirational and empowered. We offer a range of strategic and business planning support, training, and workshops, support to demonstrate impact, and the space to create conditions for change.
What it's like to work with us
'Lisa came to Long Eaton Community Garden in late 2024 on the recommendation of the Greenspring Network to help us with our future planning. We are a wholly voluntary run garden with a small Steering Group and were feeling overwhelmed by the amount of work our site requires to make it welcoming, attractive, safe and productive.
Working with all the volunteers and making sure everyone’s views and skills were recognised, Lisa helped us build up a programme of activities and identified people who would take the lead in moving these tasks forward. Lisa was a delight to work with, she was friendly, knowledgeable and organised. The forward plan she produced for us has been instrumental in shaping the garden’s five-year Management Plan for our Green Flag Community Award application.
I’m delighted to say we achieved the Green Flag status in June 2025 and our judge was very impressed with the Management Plan which is giving us a clear direction for our work at the garden.
